Our 2027 Season ends with a gorgeous program taken from the world of the high Romantic and the exquisite relationship between three of the most beloved composers of that era.
Clara Schumann’s beautiful work complements her husband’s stunning first piano trio alongside their protégé Brahms’ masterpiece for clarinet, cello and piano. Peter Sculthorpe’s fabulous “Dream Tracks” rounds out the program.
Featuring two brilliant Australian guests who join S&F for the first time, we welcome the brilliant violinist Amalia Hall, member of the NZ Piano Trio, and the inimitable David Griffiths, truly one of Australia’s finest clarinettists. Stunning Australian artists, they join Kathy for a rousing program to finish the season. Highly revered cellist Julian Smiles returns for a second outing this season to complete a stunning line-up to close out the season.
