Box Office Opening Hours

Box Office is open Monday to Friday 12:30pm to 5pm, and from 60 minutes prior to all performances and events unless otherwise specified. We prioritise tickets sales for imminent performances. The Box Office is closed on public holidays.

Access

If you are deaf and/or find it hard to hear or speak with people over the phone, you may contact our Box Office via the National Relay Service. Visit our Accessibility page for information on other access services.

Booking

Tickets to all events at City Recital Hall can be booked online.

Be aware that City Recital Hall allows standing or dancing during events. Please allow for this when choosing your seats.

Click the 'Buy Tickets' button on the selected event page. Select your seats and transact online.

Visit the City Recital Hall Box Office, located inside the Pitt Street entrance.

Booking Fees

A booking fee of $8.50 per transaction applies.

City Recital Hall Members are exempt from booking fees. See City Recital Hall Membership to find out more.

Ticket Delivery

We offer the following ticket delivery options:

Digital Ticket

Tickets delivered to your email on purchase for presentation on your device for admission. Check your Junk or Promotions folders if your tickets are not received on purchase. 

Venue Collection

Collect your ticket at the Box Office before the day of your event, or from 60 minutes prior to the commencement time, unless otherwise specified.

Postal Delivery

Receive your physical tickets in the mail. Only available for tickets booked online or by phone at least one week prior to an event.

Offers and Vouchers

Gift Vouchers

City Recital Hall gift vouchers can be used for any event at City Recital Hall and are valid for three years from the time of purchase. Purchase a gift voucher online or call 02 8256 2222.

Authorised Ticket Sellers

The authorised ticket seller for events held at City Recital Hall is the City Recital Hall Box Office. This includes bookings made over the counter, over the phone, and on the website.

City Recital Hall is under no obligation to honour tickets purchased via unauthorised re-sellers. If you attend an event with a ticket purchased via an unauthorised re-seller such as Ticketmaster Resale, Viagogo, Ticketbis, eBay, Gumtree, Tickets Australia or any other unauthorised seller, you may be refused entry to the event.

Refunds and Exchanges

Ticket purchases are non-refundable. Exchanges may be available for productions with several performances. An exchange fee of $8.50 per transaction applies. Please call the Box Office on 02 8256 2222 for further information.
