A Little Lunch Music: Meet Lyn Williams, Founder of Gondwana Voices
Curated by City Recital Hall and Kathryn Selby AM
- Talks
Lyn Williams AM transformed the choral landscape with the founding of three world-renowned children’s choirs: The Sydney Children’s Choir, Gondwana Voices and the Gondwana Indigenous Choir. These choirs have shaped thousands of lives, with alumni performing in opera houses and concert halls across the world, and have assisted in the preservation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander languages and cultures. Her dedication to the arts has been recognised on several occasions; most recently in 2019 when she was made a Member of the Order of Australia.
Meet Lyn Williams is a chance for audiences to gain a close, intimate insight into one of the most influential people in Australia’s cultural landscape.
