Not every treasure hangs in a gallery. Some wait quietly in forgotten music libraries. 

For decades, Paul Dyer and the Brandenburg have searched Europe's libraries, monasteries and private collections, uncovering extraordinary works that have lain silent for centuries. This program presents a wealth of those remarkable discoveries in their Australian premieres, alongside a dazzling virtuoso showcase for Brandenburg Concertmaster Shaun Lee-Chen. It is music history brought thrillingly back to life. 

Then everything changes. 

The second half sweeps into the energy and spectacle of 18^th -century London's famous Vauxhall Gardens before culminating in Handel's magnificent Music for the Royal Fireworks. This music was written to celebrate, astonish and overwhelm audiences. Now, nearly three centuries later, it still does.

One concert. Two stories. The thrill of discovery and the joy of celebration, united in a program that captures the Brandenburg at its most adventurous and its most spectacular.
