Shy FX brings a rare one-off Sydney performance, joined by dubstep icon Mala. Two pioneering forces of UK sound system culture meet on one stage, tracing decades of jungle, dubstep and bass innovation. With Alilia & Anusha opening, it’s a night where history, low-end pressure and forward motion meet in real time.

Few figures in UK music carry the legacy of Shy FX, a foundational architect of jungle and drum & bass. This summer, he brings a rare one-off performance to Sydney, joined by Mala, DMZ co-founder and a defining voice in dubstep’s earliest movement. Together, they represent two parallel pillars of bass culture, artists who’ve shaped eras while continuing to push sound into new territory. With Eora’s Alilia & Anusha setting the tone, the night brings a convergence of history, innovation and deep low-end energy. A singular meeting of visionaries still shaping the future of underground club culture.
