Ultra Violet is not just a party — it’s a pulse. A glowing, femme-charged frequency signalling the first night of Mardi Gras 2026. Created by long-time co-conspirators Sveta Gilerman and Jess Hill (DJ Estee Louder), Ultra Violet will takeover the acoustic jewel of Angel Place, transforming City Recital Hall’s iconic auditorium and grand foyer into a lush dreamscape of queer sensuality.

This is a night drenched in the creative power of women and gender-diverse artists: decadent burlesque, ritualistic performance art, provocateur cabaret, visual seduction, and swaggering drag kings. The soundtrack? An ECSTATICA collision of house, electro-pop, club, hip-hop, and disco — delivered by some of the most delectable queer talent on the scene including DJ Gemma, GodOfSexKingOfAcid, Jacqui Cunningham, Jo Christy, Kate Doherty, DJ Sveta and Tanzer.

This Friday the 13^th will be very lucky for some. Ultra Violet is an unapologetically sapphic space — intimate, electric, and defiant, open to LGBTQIA+ women and allies. Come soft, come wild, come as you are.
