Cohen’s songbook... the first of its kind officially endorsed by the band... [is] pure Radiohead: subtly orchestral; beautiful but unsettled. Broadsheet

Master of improvisation, Berlin-based Australian pianist Josh Cohen takes on legendary rock band Radiohead in this live show of remarkably inventive covers from the group’s famous back catalogue – interpretations that have gone viral on YouTube with more than ten million views and counting.

Performing against a visual installation custom-built exclusively for Cohen, the visuals are performed and improvised in real time, ensuring every show is a unique experience.

Although fiercely protective of their reputation, it’s not surprising that Radiohead gave Cohen the green light to release two official songbooks and perform their songs around the world. Audacious in his approach to music and innovative in his playing style that ranges between classical and jazz, Cohen’s skills are truly dynamic, instantly elevating these iconic songs to a whole new level.

Josh Cohen is an Australian composer, pianist, and ambient artist based in Berlin. His distinctive style blends jazz, modern classical, and electronic influences, pairing improvisation with atmospheric, emotionally driven performance.

Known for dynamic live shows that echo the energy of DJ sets, Josh has gained over 20 million YouTube views and official recognition from Radiohead, leading to two band-approved solo piano songbooks published by Faber Music.

His work includes the debut album Weird Time Signature (2023), improvised livestream series Clifton Hill (2021), and experimental releases like Lagrasse Organ Jam (2024). He is currently developing Emergency Piano Hotline, an online tutorial project focused on his Radiohead arrangements.
