02 | 23 dimmed the lights and leaned into extraordinary sounds, and brought irrepressible energy, incandescent songcraft and compelling artists on the rise to City Recital Hall. We heard everything from thumping Lagos-born Afrobeats to atmospheric Icelandic pop to Australian surf-rock. And we also took the seats out for the first standing concerts in our 20+ year history, ushering in an exciting new era of live music at City Recital Hall.
