Longing to spend your lunch hour device-free and served with a slice of serenity?

Drop in for City Recital Hall’s long running series of lunchtime concerts, A Little Lunch Music. Each concert is an hour of musical escapism performed by some of Australia’s best artists and acclaimed international musicians. Take your pick from one (or all!) of 12 events in 2020, and return to the rest of your day feeling uplifted and inspired.

Duration: all concerts are approximately one hour, no interval

Figaro for Winds – Australian National Academy of Music

Ensemble Apex – Euro X

Beethoven’s Violin

Celebrations of Beethoven’s 250th Birthday continue with this gorgeous program of two of the masters’ most popular sonatas for violin and piano performed by SSO Concertmaster Andrew Haveron and Kathryn Selby AM. 

Miriam Lieberman Trio

Playing favourite songs from past albums as well as songs from their upcoming EP, the Miriam Lieberman Trio meld voices in harmony, soaring violins, the 21-string West African harp and guitar, creating a sound that is both uplifting and filled with wanderlust.

Kristin Berardi and Sam Anning

Kristin Berardi and Sam Anning perform their jazz album Our Songs, Not Songs. Both Berardi and Anning are recipients of the The National Jazz Award among other accolades and have joined forces to bring a stunning collection of their own song-writings together in the spare setting of voice and upright bass.
