The Australian Romantic & Classical Orchestra’s 2020 Concert Season is designed as a package of three. The concerts celebrate Beethoven’s 250th birthday, present an Australian premiere of Beethoven’s friend and sometimes rival Anton Eberl, introduce Australian audiences to Haydn’s glorious oratorio The Creation on period instruments from Haydn’s own time, continue the Australian Romantic & Classical Orchestra’s cycle of showcasing world-class soloists performing Mozart Concerti, and explore the profound Romanticism of 19th century string repertoire. To achieve optimal enjoyment of the season, all three programs are recommended.

The 2020 Concert Season features hand-picked internationally-respected musicians, directors, conductor and soloists including director Rachael Beesley, conductor Jakob Lehmann and natural horn specialist Anneke Scott.
