The venue allows you to present simple or lavish events. Elegantly unadorned, or dressed to impress, your corporate event can look exactly as you would like. The beautiful foyers and bars can be configured to serve a range of refreshments, with the added potential for live entertainment in the auditorium to enhance your main event.


City Recital Hall has the distinct advantage of being a purpose built space to showcase events. We have a range of props and equipment that you can use. We do not impose any mandatory catering orders nor insist on an exclusive caterer.


City Recital Hall accommodates for multiple uses. The auditorium seats over 600 on the ground floor. By adding upper box seating, capacity increases to over 1200. The venue also has numerous breakout spaces that can be configured to either ‘workshop’, ‘classroom’ or ‘theatre’ style seating for up to 100 guests.


Flanked by some of Sydney’s finest restaurants, City Recital Hall is located in Angel Place between Pitt and George Streets. Both Martin Place and Wynyard stations are within 5 minutes’ walk. There is direct access via dedicated lifts from Wilson Parking. Taxi ranks are located on Pitt Street, less than a minute away. City Recital Hall is proud to be a fully accessible venue.
