City Recital Hall and our neighbours Felix and Ash St. Cellar are partnering to bring you the ultimate French-inspired night out in Sydney. Start your evening with dinner at Felix or Ash St. Cellar and then head over to City Recital Hall to catch Robyn Archer in her critically acclaimed ‘French’ cabaret show.
Felix is an elegant bistro serving classic French fare tucked in Ash Street laneway, just around the corner from City Recital Hall. Awarded One Hat in the 2017 and 2016 Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide Awards, Felix will wine and dine you with your choice of either a 2 or 3 course prix fixe menu and a glass of sparkling or red wine.
Located a stone’s throw from City Recital Hall, Ash St. Cellar is the perfect accompaniment to a night of live entertainment. What better way to start your evening than dining alfresco in the Ash Street laneway? Head chef Jake Ahrens has drawn on his European travels to design a special pre-theatre menu, with dishes including grilled king prawns, fermented rose harissa with parsley and mint and a wild oregano lamb cutlet, roasted truss tomato and olive tapenade.
Following a sell-out season at Griffin Theatre in July, Robyn Archer and her musicians bring her classic ‘French’ cabaret show back to Sydney for one night only. Featuring a selection of French greats Piaf, Trenet and Brel, this will be a rare experience to hear Archer reimagine the French repertoire.
