We're bringing more music to your lunch hour

We’re giving you more great reasons to get away from your desk – or out of the house – with an expanded program of lunchtime events in 2017.

City Recital Hall’s ever-popular A Little Lunch Music series curated by Kathryn Selby AM returns with a program that includes some of Australia’s best musicians, from emerging artists to household names like Teddy Tahu Rhodes.

You’ll also have the opportunity to get to know the performers and instruments of Omega Ensemble in our captivating chamber music series A Taste of Omega.

Plus, you can catch some of our finest young musicians in Sydney Youth Orchestras’ The Engine Room of Excellence.

If you’re after something a bit more technical, This Sounds Like Science is our free talks program co-curated with Inspiring Australia. We’ve invited leading Australian researchers to unravel the science behind the music we love, paired with demonstrations and performances by local musicians to leave you wondering where the science ends and the magic begins.

There’s a music inspired lunch hour break to suit everyone, all in the heart of the CBD. We hope you’ll join us.
