Light for Riley: The Harsh Reality of the Anti-Vax Movement Catherine Hughes
The Trend is Mightier than the Pen: Defining Journalism Today Kathy Marks, Marcus Strom & Fauziah Ibrahim
On Betrayal by the Left Sarah Haider
Cognitive Dissonance On-Stage Cognitive Dissonance Podcast

Day One, Session Three will round off a huge day of debate, discussion and, of course, a dose of healthy skepticism with Catherine Hughes, who will be presenting her campaign Light for Riley live on stage. She’ll be taking you through her  journey from family tragedy to passionate vaccination campaigning, and examining the history of the anti-vaccination trend, including just why the trend came into existence, from confused conspiracy theorists to alternative health “experts”, and a generation of chemical-phobic parents. Next, Kathy Marks, Walkey Award-winning journalist and foreign correspondent, Marcus Strom, media advisor and former science editor of the Sydney Morning Herald & Fauziah Ibrahim, on how the truth can get you in trouble. Sarah Haider will be discussing the truth behind liberalism today. Bringing this session to a snarky close is The Cognitive Dissonance Podcast On-Stage (rated R). They’ll be dissecting and discussing global news and politics: from the seemingly true, to the undoubtedly false.
