Open House is supported by Young Henrys.
It’s a Thursday night and you’re ready for a bit of creative entertainment after a day in the office.
Don’t head straight home. Instead, enter a haven of possibilities at City Recital Hall, the beating cultural heart of the city. With Open House, we have curated a series of interactive events to make you laugh, think, or just relax and enjoy. From music trivia and slam poetry sessions to emerging songwriters and talks on current ideas and issues, Open House will help you unwind in style.
This July, join Naomi Crellin and Nick Begbie from multi ARIA Award-winning a cappella ensemble ‘The Idea of North’ in a free, interactive session dedicated to the voice. Join in on the some of the group’s helpful (and amusing) vocal warmups, or even try your hand at multiple-part singing! Plus, gain insights about their offstage workings and performance methodologies, and ask whatever you like about the tricks of their trade, singing, performing, touring, recording and moving an audience.
Don’t miss Open House with two of Australia’s pre-eminent (and most down-to-earth) harmony singers, up close and personal. Their philosophy is endearing, their music is sublime, and their insight into the possibilities of the human voice is astounding.
And you can make a night of it and grab a ticket for 2by20 at 9pm.
FREE ENTRY - JUST TURN UP!
