Nobuyuki Tsujii makes his Sydney recital debut with a program of piano favourites.
Nobuyuki Tsujii caused a sensation in the 2009 Van Cliburn Competition, taking out the gold medal prize, and in 2016 made his SSO debut with Beethoven’s Third Piano Concerto to round acclaim. For his Sydney recital debut he’s chosen a recital of favourites by Classical masters. Bach’s Italian Concerto is lively and lyrical, and Mozart’s Sonata in B flat dazzles in its virtuosity. And two of Beethoven’s greatest sonatas – the magnificent Appassionata, and the sublime Moonlight – complete this not-to-be-missed recital.
JS Bach Italian Concerto, BWV 971
