Just Music will showcase the finalists of the Law Society of NSW's charity songwriting contest. The performances will include original lyrical and instrumental pieces inspired by justice, in a variety of genres. Expect everything from moving ballads to toe-tapping rock, and a special guest performance!
Proceeds from ticket sales will support the life-changing work of The Butterfly Foundation, the national organisation that supports people with eating disorders.
Hailing from Sydney, acclaimed jazz singer Cathi Ogden has spent most of her career living and working in London.
Cathi has performed as a session singer and songwriter, and has co-written songs for the likes of Victoria Beckham, Darude and UK artist Lousie.
She has released a total of three albums, including Out There, which was recognised by Billboard Magazine’s Critics Choice as a Top Ten Album of 2001. Her latest album, Curious Covers for Cool Cats, was a collaboration with award winning British guitarist Nigel Price.
