Popular Soprano Amelia Farrugia stars in an uplifting celebration of great Australian Divas, June Bronhill and Dame Joan Sutherland. This fabulous concert features repertoire that made them famous and will also showcase original compositions by Australian composer, Elena Kats-Chernin.
Interspersed with stories of their life and career, told by script-writer and compere Guy Noble, Amelia will perform songs and arias from Opera and Operetta including Faust, La Traviata, La Rondine, Manon, The Merry Widow, Orpheus in the Underworld, Die Fledermaus and the role that Sutherland and Bronhill both sang at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Lucia di Lammermoor.
Aria Award-Winning Music Director Tamara Anna Cislowska plays the Piano, joined by Acacia Quartet and small Choir.
