Marking the 500th anniversary of Luther’s publication of The Ninety-Five Theses, the Reformation threw the Catholic church into schism, with the hope and desire to transition and rebuild a new doctrine of faith and belief. Music of the Lutheran Reformation is placed alongside masterpieces of the English Reformation, which form the backbone of the continuation of Anglican church music in our modern time.
