The Australian Music Examinations Board is celebrating 100 years of commitment to arts education with a Centenary Concert featuring magical performances from the world of music and drama.
Music Director George Ellis and compere Simone Whetton proudly present performances from outstanding up-and-coming young artists and AMEB graduates, through to seasoned world-class performers, including some by our very own examiners. With performances from soloists and ensembles of talented singers and actors, classical and contemporary musicians, and much more; immerse yourself in the scope of arts excellence that AMEB examinations produce.
Our performers will present works from contemporary Australian composers including Ross Edwards and Larry Sitsky as well as music legends such as Tchaikovsky and Mendelssohn. You will hear performances arranged and composed by our own AMEB examiners and music from Handel to Bruno Mars.
Ticket prices include a commemorative program and the AMEB (NSW) History Booklet Past, Present and Future, one hundred years of AMEBNSW 1918 – 2018.
