Drop in for City Recital Hall’s long running series of lunchtime concerts, A Little Lunch Music. Each concert is an hour of musical escapism performed by some of Australia’s best artists, curated by Kathryn Selby AM, Artistic Director of this series.

Duration: each performance is approximately 1 hour, no interval

Sydney Symphony Orchestra Fellows 2018 Presents Bienvenue

Wednesday 7 February 12.30pm

Three great French composers, all seeking to entertain! The result is a lively and elegant program, filled with melody, performed by some of Australia’s finest emerging talents in orchestral music. Performing works by Poulenc, Françaix and Rameau. Find out more.

A Little Lunch Music: Selby, Clifford & Newman play Beethoven

Following the recent passing of Sir Nicholas Shehadie, and with the utmost respect for Prof Marie Bashir and the family at this difficult time, the A Little Lunch Music event 'An Audience with Marie Bashir' has been postponed, and replaced with an alternate program.
The event at 12.30pm on Tuesday 13 March will now be a lunchtime recital featuring A Little Lunch Music Artistic Director Kathryn Selby AM (piano), Grace Clifford (violin) and Clancy Newman (cello) performing Beethoven’s Piano Trio in B-flat major, Op. 97 ‘Archduke’. Find out more.

Australia Ensemble Presents A French Affair

Arrebato Ensemble, led by acclaimed flamenco guitarist, Greg Alfonzetti, is an exceptionally talented group of musicians that includes cello, double bass, oud, saxophone, harmonica and percussion players.
