SSJ Unplugged is a boutique line up of select players from the collective of musicians ‘The SSJ Group’ some of Australia’s most in demand session musicians with an impressive string of credits between them.
Calvin Orosa, Glenn Lumanta and Flip Simmons have worked internationally with some of the greatest musicians and performers of all time. Notable artists include international superstars such as Stevie Wonder, George Benson, Diana Krall and Josh Groban; and Australian icons such as John Farnham, Delta Goodrem and Guy Sebastian.
For 2by20 they’ve put together a show of soulful renditions of some of the most popular songs over the decades, reimagined with some incredible arrangements shining a new light onto songs you know and love, including hits by artists such as The Bee Gees, Stevie Wonder, George Benson, Chicago, Michael Jackson, Phil Collins and more.

This event is held in the City Recital Hall ground floor foyer. Seating is in a cocktail-table format and not allocated, so arrive early to enjoy a refreshment and secure a good seat!
