About Two Good

You eat one,
we treat one.

Two Good began ten years ago as an ad-hoc Kings Cross cook-out for the area’s less fortunate. We didn’t mean to grow like we have. We didn’t mean to have this much impact.

We just wanted to feed some hungry people. Our road-side barbecue evolved into Australia’s first organic soup kitchen at Saint Canice’s in Kings Cross.

It didn’t take long for us to realise we should stop telling people that our food was organic (“Not that fake meat s**t vegetarians eat?!”), but what we never discarded was our commitment to serving clean food that’s grown, sourced and prepared with respect.

In June 2015, we launched our ‘Eat one, treat one’ model. For every meal purchased, we’d give an identical one to a local women’s refuge for domestic violence survivors.

As of 2017, we have served over 157,000 meals to women in refuges across Sydney and Melbourne.
Since Two Good launched, and with the invaluable backing of our customers and corporate supporters, we have dedicated ourselves to doing everything we can to restore a sense of self-worth in the women we serve.

Chefs talk all the time about cooking with love. We’re inspired by that, and want to remind those who need it most that everybody deserves to feel worthy of that love.
