Our Carbon Footprint
City Recital Hall Angel Place is taking action on climate change by working with Climate Friendly to measure and offset greenhouse gas emissions associated with its carbon footprint. Climate Friendly has provided City Recital Hall Angel Place with an analysis of its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and ways to offset, reduce and review. The Greenhouse Gas report covers the period between 01/07/2011 and 30/06/2012.
Our carbon footprint has been developed in accordance with the World Resources Institute's Greenhouse Gas Protocol and ISO 14064-1, which are internationally recognised standards for greenhouse gas accounting and reporting.
We have measured emissions associated with the operation of the venue including electricity, natural gas, transport, air travel, paper and waste emissions. Based on this information provided by City Recital Hall Angel Place in a data collection form and the agreed assumptions, our organisation's carbon footprint for the reporting period is 1,416 tonnes of CO2 equivalent. This inventory report will be used as a benchmark for managing our organisation's greenhouse gas emissions.
The graph above (click on image to enlarge) shows the breakdown of our organisation's relevant GHG emissions according to emission sources and scope.
