Mozart's Gran Partita for 13 winds needs almost no introduction. At its core is the intensely brooding music that left a fictional Salieri trembling in Amadeus. This program, under the direction of distinguished former Berlin Philharmonic oboist Hansjorg Schellenberger, will showcase the virtuosity of the Sydney Symphony wind section as a team of virtuosos.
