New Music Network presents: Kaylie Dunstan Table for two? Expect the unexpected from this unique performance by solo percussion artist Kaylie Dunstan. She showcases engaging yet seldom heard works for solo percussion in a program covering the gamut of percussion instruments from the smallest dinner bell to the grand 5 octave marimba.
Sydney Conservatorium of Music Lunchbreak Tours, Semester 1. Join us for a tour of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music with one of our knowledgeable volunteer guides. Explore the whole site and learn about the history of the area, what lies underneath the grand Verbrugghen Hall, why the building resembles a castle, and admire the handmade convict brickwork. With the Royal Botanic Gardens above and trains running below, the modern extension completed in 2001 is an architectural marvel. Come and explore the hidden corridors where our most talented young musicians practice, learn and perform.
